EV brakes sharply and accelerates rapidly with energy storage: North American battery factories are massively pivoting towards the AI electric racing track.

Due to the decline in electric car sales in North America, battery manufacturers are retooling their factories to produce energy storage batteries in hopes of benefiting from the growing demand in artificial intelligence. According to market intelligence firm CRU, 10 factories in North America are already undergoing transformation to produce batteries that are more suitable for energy storage systems. Of these 10 factories, 7 will primarily serve the energy storage market.
