When introducing the new generation Xiaomi SU7, Lei Jun mentioned that the door handles already meet the new national standard in advance. It is reported that the hidden door handles of the new generation Xiaomi SU7 have added mechanical redundancy to solve problems such as malfunctioning in low temperatures and high failure rates. Previously, the mandatory national standard "Technical Requirements for Car Door Handle Safety" approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and others requires that each door should be equipped with at least one mechanical release for the interior door handle, and this standard will be implemented starting from January 1, 2027.
