The main bridge of the Guanzhong River on the Shenjiang Railway has successfully completed its closure along the Jiyasha Waterway.
On February 10th, the main bridge of the Guangzhou Construction Group of China Railway Engineering Bureau on the Guangdong-Zhejiang Railway, the Guangdong-Zhongjiang Bridge, successfully completed the closure over the Jiyasha Waterway, becoming the first main bridge of the entire Guangdong-Zhejiang Railway to achieve closure. The main bridge over the Jiyasha Waterway is approximately 789 meters long and is a key and control project of the entire Guangdong-Zhejiang Railway. The Guangdong-Zhejiang Railway is an important part of China's "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed railway network along the coastal corridor. The line starts from Shenzhen Xili Station, with a total length of approximately 116 kilometers, crossing the Pearl River Estuary, connecting the cities of Shenzhen, Dongguan, Guangzhou, Zhongshan, and Jiangmen in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area. After the completion of the Guangdong-Zhejiang Railway, it will be possible to reach Shenzhen and Jiangmen within 1 hour.
