Insiders: Alphabet's pound bond issuance received a record-breaking 24 billion pound subscription order.
Following a massive deal completed in the United States, Alphabet is now issuing at least $9.4 billion worth of bonds denominated in pounds and Swiss francs, including extremely rare century bonds. According to sources who preferred to remain anonymous, the pound bond issuance is expected to reach a record-breaking 4.5 billion, with maturity ranging from 3 years to 32 years, as well as a 100-year bond. The Google parent company has received a record 24 billion in subscription orders. The Swiss franc bond issuance is at least CHF 2.45 billion, with maturities of 3, 6, 10, 15, and 25 years. Both transactions are expected to be priced later today.
