According to the news from EVE Energy, on January 31, 2026, the world's first large-scale 628Ah energy storage battery station with a capacity of 400MWh officially entered operation. The station is equipped with 80 sets of 628Ah energy storage batteries integrated into a 5MWh energy storage DC system called Mr. Giant, as well as 40 sets of boost converters. During the related activities, Zheng Malin, Technical Director and CFO of Beijing State Grid, and Liu Hongguang, General Manager of EVE Energy's domestic sales department, signed a strategic cooperation agreement for future 10GWh large battery systems.
