According to media reports, around 8:50 am on February 7th, a tank accident occurred in a blind vertical shaft at the Shangzhuang mine section of Canzhuang gold mine in Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province, resulting in the death of 7 people. Currently, the aftermath is being dealt with. Emergency, public security, and other relevant departments have launched simultaneous investigations into the cause of the accident and issues such as suspected concealment by the company. It is reported that 11 people from the gold mine have been brought under control. According to Tianyancha App, the company involved, Zhaojin Mining Co., Ltd. Canzhuang Gold Mine, was established in December 2009, with Guo Junli as the legal representative. Its business scope is to provide business services for affiliated enterprises, with its parent company being Zhaojin Mining Co., Ltd. Business risk information shows that in December last year, the gold mine was fined 30,000 yuan by the Zhaoyuan Emergency Management Bureau for not meeting national standards or industry standards in the installation, use, testing, modification, and scrapping of safety equipment.
