According to the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government website, the "Outline of the Fifteenth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of Zhejiang Province" was officially released on February 10. It proposes to coordinate the layout of new digital infrastructure, explore the construction of a computing power system integrating general computing, intelligent computing, supercomputing, and quantitative computing, and make forward-looking arrangements for spatio-temporal intelligence and space computing infrastructure. It plans to deploy 5G-A networks and 10-gigabit optical networks on a large scale, make forward-looking arrangements for new communication networks such as 6G and satellite internet, and build 90,000 5G-A base stations and 150,000 50G-PON ports. It will promote the update of traditional infrastructure and digital transformation, accelerate the construction of smart roads and smart waterways, promote the integrated application of cloud in vehicle-road system in the Hangzhou Bay area and cloud in ship-shore system in northern Zhejiang, and deepen the integration of Hangzhou-Tongxiang-Deqing smart connected car system. It will promote the intelligent transformation of traditional container terminals and bulk cargo terminals in Ningbo-Zhoushan Port. It will plan to build a new low-altitude safety infrastructure in the southern wing of Hangzhou Bay in Shaoxing. It will promote the construction of digital water conservancy and build an integrated monitoring and sensing system for the sky, earth, and water. It will promote the cross-domain integration and development of infrastructure in transportation, water conservancy, energy, meteorology, and other fields.
