On February 10th, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian chaired a routine press conference. A Reuters reporter asked that Cuba will face a fuel shortage issue from today until March 11th, and international airlines have suspended flights to Cuba. Are there any Chinese citizens stranded in Cuba? Will China help alleviate the oil supply crisis in Cuba? Lin Jian responded, "Regarding your first question, it is understood that there are currently no reports of Chinese citizens stranded. Regarding your second question, I suggest inquiring with the relevant Chinese authorities for specific details." Lin Jian reiterated that China firmly supports Cuba in safeguarding its national sovereignty and security, opposes foreign interference, and firmly opposes actions that deprive the Cuban people of their rights to survival and development and inhumane behavior. China will continue to provide support and assistance to Cuba to the best of its ability.
