According to data from the official website of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the number of new fund accounts opened in January 2026 was 546,300, an increase of 123.8% compared to the 244,100 accounts opened in December 2025. Compared to the same period last year, which had 203,300 accounts, the number of new fund accounts opened has increased significantly by 168.72%.
