On February 5, 2026, General Motors Corporation filed an application with the U.S. International Trade Commission under Section 337 of the U.S. Tariff Act of 1930, accusing certain automotive parts, components, and downstream vehicles exported to the U.S., imported to the U.S., or sold in the U.S. of infringing on their patents. General Motors requested the initiation of a Section 337 investigation and the issuance of general exclusion orders, limited exclusion orders, and cease and desist orders.
