The world's first large-scale intelligent model of coupled ocean-atmosphere in the South China Sea has been released, making typhoon forecasts more accurate.
Today, the "Feiyu-1.0" intelligent large model of sea-air bidirectional coupling in the South China Sea region jointly developed by the South China Sea Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and China University of Petroleum was released. The "Feiyu-1.0" artificial intelligence large model mines the temporal and spatial variation patterns of the South China Sea ocean and atmospheric environment in massive data, and then relies on these learned variation patterns to analyze and infer the dynamic changes between the South China Sea ocean and atmosphere that are complex and mutually influencing.
