New York spot silver rose more than 10% on Friday.

On Friday, New York's closing session, spot silver rose 9.82% to $77.8825 per ounce, with a cumulative decline of 8.48% for the week, trading in a range of $92.2043 to $64.0980. COMEX silver futures rose 10.19% compared to Thursday's closing price, to $77.790 per ounce, with a weekly decline of 1.12%. COMEX copper futures rose 1.14% to $5.8875 per pound, with a weekly decline of 0.59%. Spot platinum rose 5.66% to $2103.89 per ounce, with a weekly decline of 4.17%; spot palladium rose 2.67% to $1701.07 per ounce, with a weekly decline of 0.63%.
