On Friday's New York session, spot gold rose 3.78% to $4960.64 per ounce, accumulating a 1.37% increase for the week. The overall trading range was between $4402.95 and $5091.60, displaying a W-shaped reversal pattern. COMEX gold futures also rose by 1.96% to $4985.10 per ounce, with a weekly gain of 5.05%.
