The three major European stock indices all rose that day. Among the top five gainers in the FTSE 100 index that day were: British luxury goods group Burberry, whose stock price rose 5.17%; International Consolidated Airlines Group, whose stock price rose 4.33%; precious metal producer Fresnillo, whose stock price rose 3.88%; Barclays Bank, whose stock price rose 2.71%; and African telecom company Telecom, whose stock price rose 2.31%. Among the top five decliners in the FTSE 100 index that day were: Metallergy and Metal Company stock, down 20.27%; market credit service provider Experian, down 4.65%; Lixun Group, down 4.62%; software company Sage, down 3.08%; and catering service company Compass Group, down 2.48%.
