Kong Dejun, director of the Department of Trade in Services and Commercial Services at the Ministry of Commerce, stated at the regular policy briefing of the State Council that in the next step, the Ministry of Commerce and other departments will implement the requirements of the "work plan", focusing on three aspects to continue promoting the expansion and improvement of the quality of services consumption in the automotive aftermarket. Firstly, they will take a pilot approach and explore development models. To adapt to the new situation and trends in automotive circulation consumption, the Ministry of Commerce will work closely with relevant departments to deepen the reform pilot of automotive circulation consumption, support pilot areas in deepening reforms, actively innovating, and exploring a new path for the high-quality development of the automotive aftermarket in terms of management systems, standards, technology, and data platforms. Secondly, they will implement targeted measures to improve institutional safeguards. Regarding car modifications, they will establish a sound system of car modification standards, promote the establishment of a management system for car modifications, and promote the positive and orderly development of the car modification market. In terms of leasing, they will study and formulate policy measures to promote the high-quality development of the car leasing industry, further optimize the car leasing service network, and promote the coordinated development of car leasing with industries such as tourism. Additionally, they will promote top-level design and optimization of product and service supply in various fields such as RV camping, racing events, and traditional classic car certification, cultivate new business formats, create new scenarios, and better meet the diverse automotive consumption needs of the masses. Finally, they will break down barriers and activate consumption momentum. They will promote the clearance of restrictive measures in the automotive aftermarket consumption sector, unblock the consumption chain, and unleash the consumption potential of the automotive aftermarket.
