Southern New Year's Day is open for business! Hainan has opened 5 daily necessities duty-free stores.

Today, Lu Wei, Deputy Director of the Hainan Provincial Department of Commerce, announced that the first 5 duty-free shops for daily consumer goods will be opened in the three prefecture-level cities of Haikou, Sanya, and Danzhou in Hainan Province. The specific layout is as follows: one duty-free shop for daily consumer goods will be set up in each of the Guomao Business Circle, Chengxi Business Circle, and West Coast Business Circle in Haikou; one duty-free shop for daily consumer goods will be set up within the Victory Road range in the Central Business District of Sanya; and one duty-free shop for daily consumer goods will be set up in Xiari Square in Danzhou. All shops will open for business on February 11th, the Southern Small New Year. In the next step, Hainan Province will assess in a timely manner and gradually expand the layout until all cities and counties on the island are covered. Please spread the word!
