The report predicts that in 2026, the global wind power generation capacity will have an average of about 2310 hours, slightly lower than in 2025, but the power generation capacity will increase by 6% due to installation growth; solar power generation capacity will increase by about 25% due to installation growth. China's average wind power generation capacity will be 2100 hours, with a total power generation capacity increase of about 2%; solar power generation capacity will increase by about 25%. The overall hydroelectric power generation capacity is expected to show a "steady increase" trend, with an increase of about 7%. It is forecasted that the Northwest region of China will have more water inflow, while the Southwest region may have a decrease in water inflow throughout the year.
