Eight departments: support leading companies in the traditional Chinese medicine industry to build production sites for high-quality traditional Chinese medicine raw materials and primary processing factories.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and eight other departments have issued the "Implementation Plan for High-Quality Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry." The plan proposes to improve the level of initial processing at production sites. It supports leading enterprises in the traditional Chinese medicine industry to build initial processing factories at high-standard traditional Chinese medicine raw material production bases, construct and promote automated production lines, and create standardized, scalable, and flexible "shared workshops". It also supports research institutes, traditional Chinese medicine planting and processing enterprises, and agricultural machinery production enterprises to jointly conduct related equipment research and development and standardized application, effectively improving the quality control level of traditional Chinese medicine raw material production processing, reducing production costs, and enhancing market competitiveness.
