The world's largest eVTOL makes its first public flight.

Fengfei Aviation today launched the 5-ton eVTOL-V5000 Sky Dragon, and completed transition flights at the low-altitude base of Bailian Lake. This is the world's largest eVTOL. Currently, mainstream eVTOLs are focused on 1.5-3 ton takeoff weight, carrying 4-6 passengers. The Sky Dragon increases the takeoff weight to the 5-ton level, with the passenger version carrying 10 people and the cargo version capable of transporting tons of cargo. Applications expand to include intercity business travel, heavy-duty feeder logistics transportation, and large-scale emergency rescue, among other areas.
