SAIC Group signs strategic cooperation framework agreement with Zhundong Economic Development Zone in Xinjiang

In January 2026, the Management Committee of the ZhunDong Economic and Technological Development Zone in Xinjiang reached a strategic cooperation agreement with SAIC Group's SAIC Hongyan and Youdao Zhitu. After two weeks of in-depth communication, on February 4, SAIC Group Vice President Zu Sijie led a team to the ZhunDong Economic Development Zone to hold discussions with ZhunDong Development Zone Director Meng Xianmin, ZhunDong Development Zone Party Working Committee member and Deputy Director Wang Dongsheng, Deputy Director of the Economic Development Bureau Liu Huan, and representatives of various enterprises in ZhunDong to deepen cooperation details, implement cooperation contents, and sign a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the ZhunDong Economic Development Zone on behalf of SAIC Group. This strategic cooperation involves customized intelligent equipment research and development, localization production and assembly, green energy support, maintenance service system construction, and many other key areas, each of which is an important lever for the industrial upgrade of ZhunDong. SAIC Hongyan will invest in batches and stages in the ZhunDong Development Zone to build a project for the integrated cooperation of 1,000 units of unmanned wide-body dump trucks annually; Youdao Zhitu will establish a regional operation center covering the entire Xinjiang in the ZhunDong Development Zone.
