State Council Information Office: By 2025, the number of active enterprises in operation will increase by 9.8% compared to the previous year.

At a press conference held by the State Council Information Office today, the State Administration for Market Regulation introduced that market entities are an important micro foundation for the improvement of the economy. By 2025, the quality of development of market entities in China will continue to improve. The number of newly established market entities nationwide is 25.745 million, with the number of active enterprises increasing by 9.8% year-on-year, and their proportion among all enterprises increasing by 4.7 percentage points.
