Gold has tested the 5000 US dollar integer psychological barrier for two consecutive days.

On Wednesday, the closing price of spot gold in New York rose by 0.32% to $4962.73 per ounce. At 4:01 PM Beijing time, it refreshed the daily high to $5091.60, before giving back the gains and hitting a daily low of $4853.67 at 12:48 AM. COMEX gold futures rose by 0.98% to $4984.20 per ounce.
