After completing the acquisition of xAI, SpaceX founder Elon Musk's net worth exceeded $800 billion, making him the first person in the world to reach this level of wealth. Forbes estimates that the deal values the merged company at $1.25 trillion, resulting in an increase of $84 billion in Musk's wealth, reaching a historic high of $852 billion. Prior to this transaction, SpaceX had initiated a stock tender offer in December with a valuation of $800 billion, calculating Musk's 42% stake at $336 billion. Earlier this month, xAI completed a private funding round with a valuation of $250 billion, valuing Musk's 49% stake at $122 billion. The merged valuations for SpaceX and xAI are set at $1 trillion and $250 billion respectively, with Forbes estimating that Musk currently owns 43% of the merged company, valued at $542 billion. This makes SpaceX his most valuable asset at the moment. Additionally, he also owns 12% of Tesla stock, valued at $178 billion, and has Tesla stock options worth $124 billion.
