Zeng Yuqun: 2030 marks the first year of the era of sustainable energy.

On February 3rd, at a summit jointly held by the World Summit of Top Scientists and the World Government Summit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Dr. Zeng Yiqun, Chairman of Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL), was invited to deliver a keynote speech alongside Nobel Physics Prize winner Zhu Diwen. Dr. Zeng stated that humanity is currently undergoing a revolutionary energy transition, shifting from the era of exploring and extracting fossil fuels to a new era of obtaining energy from wind farms and solar power stations, and storing it in batteries. Technological advancements have made sustainable energy solutions commercially viable, and CATL is driving renewable energy to be truly economically competitive across various scenarios. Dr. Zeng believes that the future energy system can be defined by three keywords: "distributed," "intelligent," and "recyclable." He predicts that with continuous advancements in zero-carbon technology, 2030 will mark the beginning of the era of sustainable energy.
