On February 4th local time, it was learned by the Central Station reporters that the Spanish National Railway Company had originally planned to hold a meeting to discuss the bidding for 30 high-speed trains capable of reaching speeds of 350 kilometers per hour. However, following the high-speed train accident in Cordoba province on January 18th, the matter has been temporarily suspended. The Spanish National Railway Company stated that until the investigation results of the high-speed train accident in Cordoba province are clear, train investments will be suspended for at least several weeks or even months. The company explicitly stated that it is not appropriate to invest in trains at the current situation.
