With the AI boom driving the storage industry into a super cycle, South Korean storage giant Samsung Electronics saw its market value surpassing 100 trillion Korean won on Wednesday, becoming the first company in South Korea to reach this milestone. Following a surge of 125% last year, Samsung Electronics' stock price has already risen by approximately 41% this year. Samsung predicts that the demand for storage chips will remain strong in the future. The company also stated that its next-generation high-bandwidth memory chip, HBM4, is expected to start shipping this quarter.
