Jilin Airport encrypts, upgrades, restores, and optimizes multiple routes to welcome the Spring Festival travel rush.

According to Jilin Province's announcement, during the Spring Festival travel rush, Jilin Airport Group is expected to ensure the operation of 20,300 flights and transport 3.03 million passengers. Changchun Airport, in collaboration with 10 airlines, has launched measures such as "increasing, upgrading, restoring, and optimizing" flights. They will increase the flight density at important destinations such as Beijing Daxing, Shanghai Pudong, Guangzhou, Qingdao, and Hangzhou, with an expected addition of 818 flights. Some flights on routes from Changchun to Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Sanya, Seoul, among others, will be switched to wide-body aircraft to increase capacity per flight, with plans to upgrade to bigger aircraft on 470 flights. They will also restore several planned routes, such as Longhao Airlines' Changchun-Yantai/Linyi-Hong Kong and Sichuan Airlines' Changchun-Xi'an. In addition, they will transform several stopover routes, such as China Southern Airlines' Changchun-Changsha-Xishuangbanna, Shanghai Airlines' Changchun-Weihai-Shanghai Pudong, China Eastern Airlines' Changchun-Zhengzhou-Xiamen, and Lucky Air's Changchun-Qingdao-Shanghai Pudong, into direct flights to significantly reduce travel time for passengers.
