Cuba's temperature drops to freezing point, breaking record.

The Cuban Meteorological Institute reported on the 3rd that a weather station in the western province of Matanzas in Cuba recorded a temperature of 0 degrees Celsius at 7 a.m. This is the first time in recorded history that the temperature in this tropical island country reached freezing point, breaking the national record low temperature of 0.6 degrees Celsius in February 1996.
