The State Council Information Office held a press conference to introduce the situation related to anchoring the modernization of agriculture and rural areas and solidly promoting the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas, and answered questions from reporters. At the press conference, it was reported that looking back at the past year, the work related to agriculture, rural areas, and farmers overcame the relatively severe impact of natural disasters and other unfavorable factors, achieving steady progress and a good trend, and successfully completing the "14th Five-Year Plan". The comprehensive production capacity of agriculture has reached a new level. The grain output has been stable at over 1.4 trillion catties for two consecutive years, reaching 142.98 billion catties by 2025, with both total output and yield hitting historical highs. Soybean output has been stable at over 20 million tons for four consecutive years. Meat production exceeded 100 million tons for the first time.
