The Nationalist Party and Communist Party think tank forum was held in Beijing yesterday. The forum focused on "Looking Ahead to Cross-Strait Exchanges and Cooperation," with experts and scholars from the Nationalist Party and Communist Party think tanks, as well as representatives and experts from various sectors including tourism, industry, and technology from both sides of the strait engaging in discussions. They called for joint efforts to promote peaceful development of cross-strait relations, eliminate obstacles, and create conditions for deepening exchanges and cooperation in various fields between both sides. During the forum, participants conducted in-depth discussions on three topics: cross-strait tourism exchanges and cooperation, industry exchanges and cooperation, and environmental and sustainable development exchanges and cooperation. They proposed 15 common opinions in five areas, aiming to promote exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in tourism and shipping, medical care and wellness, artificial intelligence, precision machinery, disaster prevention and reduction, energy and environmental protection, and others.
