Yang Yuanqing published a signed article in a publication of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: Promoting the practical application of AI with hybrid AI.

The recent issue of the industrial and information department's publication "New Industrialization" for the first quarter of 2026 featured a signed article by Yang Yuanqing, Chairman and CEO of Lenovo Group, titled "Exploring the Path of Deep Integration of Artificial Intelligence and the Real Economy with Industrial Applications as the Goal". In the article, he proposes that creating a hybrid artificial intelligence for individuals and enterprises based on differentiated needs is an effective way to achieve new industrialization, providing the "Lenovo solution" of "AI + Manufacturing". Yang Yuanqing points out that there are three technical paths for the integration of artificial intelligence big models with industrial applications: public intelligence, private domain intelligence, and the "hybrid artificial intelligence" that combines both. Hybrid artificial intelligence can accurately absorb the advantages of both public and private domain intelligence while effectively avoiding their inherent limitations. It will provide efficient solutions for empowering various industries with artificial intelligence, promoting widespread technological dissemination, and become the core force to drive AI from technological breakthroughs to industrial empowerment, from partial applications to comprehensive popularization. He believes that the key to promoting "AI towards reality" lies in creating a hybrid artificial intelligence for individuals and enterprises based on differentiated needs. Yang Yuanqing has repeatedly emphasized that the future of artificial intelligence will be centered around individuals/businesses, and therefore, the direction of AI application innovation should be to provide personalized, customized artificial intelligence products and services.
