The think tank forum between the two major parties in China, focusing on the theme of "Prospects for Cross-Strait Exchanges and Cooperation" was held.

On February 3rd, the Kuomintang and Communist Party of China held a think tank forum in Beijing. The theme of this forum was "Looking ahead to cross-strait exchanges and cooperation". Representatives from the Kuomintang, Communist Party, and various sectors including tourism, industry, technology, healthcare, and environmental protection from both sides of the strait attended the forum. They engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as cross-strait tourism, industry, environment, and sustainable development cooperation, in order to discuss the overall development of cross-strait relations and seek common interests and welfare for compatriots on both sides of the strait. This marks the resumption of institutionalized exchanges between the Kuomintang and Communist Party after nearly 10 years. The Kuomintang think tank exchange group attending the forum, led by Kuomintang Vice Chairman Xiao Xucen and Kuomintang think tank Vice Chairman Li Hongyuan, arrived in Beijing on February 2nd. In addition to the main activities of the forum, the exchange group will also engage in a visiting program in Beijing.
