Dutch Bank: New bond supply from Eurozone banks may rebound
Dutch bank strategists said in a report that they expect an increase in euro-denominated bank bond supply after a slowdown in the last week of January. These strategists suggest that as banks exit their blackout periods for earnings, they may increase debt issuance, limiting the supply of new securities during this period. They added that the healthy financial condition of these banks also supports more debt issuance. "The primary market conditions remain strong, coupled with robust earnings, investor sentiment towards eurozone bank debt will continue to be positive."
