On February 1st, the Wuhan Emergency Management Bureau released a situation report: At around 11:16 on February 1st, during the dismantling of a gantry crane at the construction site of the Xin Chun Station on Line 12 of the Wuhan rail transit, the support leg of the gantry crane toppled over, causing damage to two passing vehicles outside the construction site, resulting in one fatality and one injury. Currently, the investigation of the accident and subsequent disposal work are being carried out in an orderly manner.
