The Ministry of Public Security is openly soliciting opinions on the prevention and control of cybercrime.
In order to effectively curb the source of online crimes, regulate the ecosystem of online crimes, improve the sense of network security and satisfaction of the people, after thorough research and argumentation, the Ministry of Public Security has drafted the "Law on the Prevention and Control of Online Crimes", and is now soliciting opinions from the public. The public can submit opinions and suggestions through the following channels and methods: 1. Log on to the website of the Ministry of Public Security, go to the homepage "Investigation and Collection" to view the draft. 2. Send opinions by email to: wajfzc@sina.com. 3. Send opinions by mail to: Network Security Protection Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, No. 14 Dongchang'an Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing, postcode 100741, and indicate "Soliciting Opinions on the Law on the Prevention and Control of Online Crimes" on the envelope. The deadline for feedback is March 2, 2026.
