Three Gorges Group holds talks with North China Electric Power University to deepen collaboration on research platform construction.

On January 30, Liu Weiping, Chairman and Party Secretary of Three Gorges Group, met with Wang Qinghua, Party Secretary of North China Electric Power University, and Bi Tianshu, President and Deputy Party Secretary, in Beijing. The two sides had in-depth discussions on the implementation of the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and deepening cooperation in areas such as technological innovation and talent cultivation. Liu Weiping expressed hope that both sides would continue to leverage their respective strengths, focus on hydropower, clean energy, and deepen cooperation in areas such as the "Shagohuang" large base, offshore wind power, and new energy storage, accelerate the advancement of technological innovation and the joint construction of research platforms, strengthen talent support, cultivation, and exchanges, and better serve the construction of a strong energy, technology, and talent country. Wang Qinghua and Bi Tianshu stated that North China Electric Power University will focus on the high-quality development needed by Three Gorges Group, leverage the unique advantages of the energy and power science and engineering discipline group, work together to promote original innovation and key core technology research, strengthen the deep integration of technological and industrial innovation, deepen the construction of research platforms, carry out talent cultivation and exchanges, and create a new model of university-enterprise cooperation.
