The "Management Measures for Commitment of Agricultural Product Quality and Safety to Reach Standards and Obtain Qualification Certificates" will be implemented starting on February 1st. The measures propose that vegetables, fruits, fresh tea leaves, livestock, poultry, poultry eggs, aquaculture products, and other agricultural products specified by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs should implement the management of commitment of reaching standards and obtaining qualification certificates. This certificate proves that the agricultural product has not used banned pesticides, animal drugs, or other compounds, and that the residues of conventional pesticides and animal drugs used do not exceed the standard.
