A self-driving car belonging to Alphabet's autonomous driving technology company Waymo hit a child at low speed near a school in Santa Monica. The incident is currently under review by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in the U.S. The company has reported the incident and is cooperating with the investigation. Alphabet's stock rose 0.2% in early trading on Friday.
