The international market prices of gold and silver have dropped significantly.

On the 30th, the prices of gold and silver in the international market both fell sharply. London spot gold and New York gold futures prices fell by over 5% at one point, approaching the $5,000 per ounce mark. London spot silver and New York silver futures prices fell by over 9% at one point, approaching the $100 per ounce mark.
