Chongqing ZhiFei Biological: The application for clinical trial of freeze-dried inactivated Japanese encephalitis vaccine has been accepted.

China Biologic announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, China Biologic Dragon Science, has received a notification of acceptance of the application for clinical trials from the National Medical Products Administration for its freeze-dried inactivated Japanese encephalitis vaccine. This vaccine is prepared using human diploid cells, with a low incidence of allergic reactions and higher safety. Currently, there is no approved freeze-dried inactivated Japanese encephalitis vaccine produced using human diploid cell culture in China. If the project progresses smoothly, it will further enrich the company's upgraded vaccine varieties, improve product layout, and enhance the company's profitability and core competitiveness. However, there is uncertainty regarding the progress, results, and market availability of the clinical trials.
