The official website of the Japan Exchange shows that, from 10:21:49 to 10:31:59 on January 30, 2026 Beijing time, the Osaka Exchange activated the "circuit breaker" mechanism for platinum futures, temporarily halting trading. Due to a sharp drop in global platinum prices, the decline had already reached the 10% limit compared to the previous day.
