Our country has launched the action of upgrading the quality of service areas in 2026.
It was learned from the press conference held by the Ministry of Transport today that the "Action Plan for Quality Improvement and Upgrading of Service Areas by 2026" has been launched. This year, the Ministry of Transport will add more than 10,000 charging piles in service areas, with over a quarter of them being high-power charging piles, making it more convenient for new energy vehicles to charge. In addition, the restrooms in service areas will also be renovated, increasing the proportion of sitting toilets to make the toilet environment more comfortable. 600 standardized "driver's homes" will be newly built or renovated to provide a peaceful resting place for truck drivers. At the same time, in accordance with local characteristics, 60 "open service areas" that can be connected to the surrounding areas will be added, and the provision and updating of fire facilities in service areas will be comprehensively strengthened to ensure travel safety.
