Armor Hero and Shandy Extend Joint Venture Agreement with Japanese Yokkaichi Factory to 2034

On January 29, local time, Kaxia Holdings' Kaxia company and SanDisk announced that the joint venture agreement for Kaxia's Japan Yonago factory has been extended for five years. The agreement, originally set to expire on December 31, 2029, will now continue until December 31, 2034. In addition, the joint venture agreement for Kaxia's North Factory has also been extended to December 31, 2034, synchronously with the Yonago factory. As part of the renewal agreement, SanDisk will pay Kaxia $1.165 billion for manufacturing services and ongoing supply guarantee. This amount will be paid in installments from 2026 to 2029.
