European major stock indices closed lower.

The European Stoxx 600 index fell by 0.22%, the European Stoxx index fell by 0.69%, and the Eurozone blue-chip index fell by 0.75%. The UK's FTSE 100 index rose by 0.16%, Germany's DAX index fell by 2.13%, France's CAC 40 index rose by 0.03%, and Spain's IBEX index fell by 0.17%.
