On January 29, the city of Shanghai held a meeting to deploy the three-year action plan for the high-quality development of meteorology. It was clearly stated that the high-quality development of the meteorological industry should be deeply integrated into the overall urban construction, making meteorological services more closely related to people's livelihoods, more conducive to development, and better for governance. Among them, Shanghai aims to promote the market-oriented reform of meteorological data elements, ensure safety, and carry out pilot projects for data integration, sharing, and cross-border circulation, in order to unlock the greater value of meteorological data. At the same time, Shanghai is committed to establishing international benchmarks and deepening the construction of early warning systems for multiple disasters, contributing to the global urban disaster prevention and reduction with the "Shanghai solution".
