The dark side of the moon: Kimi's K2.5 model, released on the 27th, reached the top of multiple global charts just one day after its launch. On the authoritative LMarena chart, Kimi K2.5 ranks second only to closed-source models such as Claude opus 4.5 and Genimi3 Pro, taking the top spot among open-source models. On the well-known independent evaluation agency Artificial Analysis's chart, Kimi K2.5 ranks fifth overall and is also the highest-ranking among all open-source models.
