Cambodia's Minister of Health, Mam Bunheng, stated on the 27th that Cambodia has successfully achieved the national goal of eliminating malaria, with no new cases of malaria reported in the country by the end of 2025. Mam Bunheng made the above remarks at the closing ceremony of the 45th Annual Health Conference of the Cambodian Ministry of Health held in this place that day. He pointed out that by the end of 2025, Cambodia had not reported any new cases of malaria, and there have been no deaths from malaria since 2018, which fully demonstrates the efforts made by the Cambodian health authorities to eliminate malaria by 2025.
