According to the latest solid-state battery survey by TrendForce, as humanoid robots develop and reach the key point of commercialization in 2026, batteries as "energy supply" are becoming more important. Although humanoid robots currently mainly use liquid lithium batteries, future requirements for long endurance and high-load work may lead to solid-state lithium batteries with high energy density taking over as the mainstream solution. TrendForce estimates that the demand for solid-state batteries in humanoid robots is expected to exceed 74GWh by 2035, a growth of over a thousand times compared to 2026.
