India initiates first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on phthalic anhydride involving China's neighbors

According to the China Trade Remedy Information Network, on January 27, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued a notice stating that in response to applications submitted by domestic Indian companies IG Petrochemicals Limited, Thirumalai Chemical Industries Limited, and TCL Intermediates Private Limited, they have initiated the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on phthalic anhydride originating from or imported from China, South Korea, and Thailand. The customs code of the products involved is 29173500. The dumping investigation period is from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025, and the injury investigation periods are from April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023, from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024, from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025, and from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025.
