Baowu Magnesium Industry stated in a institutional research that its subsidiary Chaohu Baomagnesium has a resource reserve of 90 million tons of dolomite, and is in the process of mining and operation; its subsidiary Wutai Baomagnesium has a resource reserve of 580 million tons of dolomite; and its associated company Anhui Baomagnesium holds a resource reserve of 1.3 billion tons of dolomite, which has already been partially mined. Additionally, regarding strontium metal products, the company mentioned that strontium can be added to aluminum, magnesium and other metals to make alloys, which can improve the strength, hardness, and corrosion resistance of the alloys; adding a small amount of strontium in the processing of some metal materials can refine the grain size. Currently, the company has a production capacity of 3,000 tons per year of metallic strontium.
